QA Tester - Bright Projects

Who are we looking for?

We are Bright Projects - a company that operates in the IT industry and specializes in EdTech and Gaming. We strive to change the world for future generations through making an impactful difference.

One of our major projects - Robotics Academy is a leading and innovative technological education organization based in Lithuania. This year we are starting with a new international project of personalized education (using artificial intelligence) and expanding our team accordingly for its implementation.

At the moment we are looking for a talented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our team of enthusiastic developers, entrepreneurs and educators to help us create an innovative solution for personalized education.

Responsibilities

Test all new versions of the application before deployment every time a modification has been introduced to pinpoint any bugs or problems

Reporting bugs using our ticket system

Working through various roles in system to making sure everything works as it should

Work on improving our QA through your feedbacks, ideas and suggestions

Collect and analyze data on consumer behavior to make decisions based on it

Learning on how to write automatic tests with Laravel or Vue.JS

Required skills and experience:

Experience in software testing within the last year or so (e.g. working as a QA engineer, shadowing another tester etc.)

High attention to details

Ability to analyze and be creative with problem-solving skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to learn fast and work in a team

We are offering:

Salary from €1 500 - €2 500 (gross) depending on experience

Bonus points if you have:

Knowledge and experience of Laravel 5+

Knowledge of testing tools like: PHPUnit, Selenium, etc.

Education: College or university degree - any field from Computer Science/IT to Engineering.

Ability to take initiative and work independently
